About this role

As a quality assurance engineer, you will be part of our Technical team. You will be responsible for reviewing system requirements & tracking quality assurance metrics, designing & implementing test cases, debugging applications & APIs and finally, defining corrective measures to instances where they are required.

This position is Hybrid, located in Yaba, Lagos and is Full-time.

Your responsibilities

• Estimate, prioritise, plan and coordinate testing activities.
• Create detailed, comprehensive and well-structured test plans and test cases.
• Perform thorough regression testing for new features that overlap with existing ones and also when bugs are resolved.
• Design, develop and execute automation scripts using open source tools.
• Liaise with internal teams (e.g. developers and product managers) to identify system requirements.

Ideal Candidate

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
• Proven work experience in software quality assurance.
• Strong experience in testing frontend applications, APIs and mobile applications, using a wide range of devices, simulators and emulators.
• Strong knowledge of software QA methodologies, tools and processes.
• Experience in writing clear, concise and comprehensive test plans and test cases
• Hands-on experience with automated testing tools

Salary Range & Benefits

• Annual Learning & Development of $500 (option to increase budget is available upon request and subject to terms)
