About this role

The Finance Manager will oversee the company’s financial management and reporting activities and will be responsible for budget planning and remitting daily, weekly, and monthly payments to suit the company’s operational needs.
The ideal candidate will have proven experience working in a financial position, show excellent initiative, and have a working knowledge of all statutory legislation and regulations.

This position is Hybrid, located in Yaba, Lagos and is Full-time.

Your responsibilities

●  Providing financial reports and interpreting financial information to managerial sta while recommending further courses of action.

●  Maintaining the financial health of the organisation.

● Analyse costs, pricing, variable contributions, sales results and the company’s actual performance compared to the business plans.

●  Make daily, weekly and monthly payments based on the company’s operational expenses and partnerships.

●  Conduct reviews and evaluations for cost-reduction opportunities.

●  Establish operations of the finance department, set goals and objectives, and design a framework for these to be met.

●  Manage the preparation of the company’s budget.

●  Liaise with auditors and tax firms to ensure appropriate monitoring of company finances is maintained. 

Ideal Candidate

●  Proven experience as a Financial Manager with experience in the financial sector

●  Proficient user of finance software

●  Strong interpersonal, communication and presentation skills

●  Able to manage, guide and lead employees to ensure appropriate financial processes are being used

●  BS/MA degree in Finance, Accounting or Economics

●  Professional qualifications such as ACA, ACCA, and CPA required

●  Annual Learning & Development of $500 (option to increase budget is available upon request and subject to terms)
