What’s New? A Simplified Process and More Shipping Options

Over time, and with feedback from businesses and people who use our services, we listen to learn how to improve our services, understand what people want, and what can be done better to improve their overall shipping experience from start to finish. We consider everything from the signup process to the shipping cost and eventual delivery of the items. 

 

Now, with all the feedback that we have received and our dedication to simplifying shipping and ensuring affordability with options, we have launched new services and a simplified process.

And they are


1. Sea Freight 

In an industry like ours, shipping is determined by volume, timelines, cost, and, most importantly, the shipper’s needs. Our services do not stop at providing options for business owners or individuals shipping small to mid-sized packages but also cater to those with large volumes and heavy packages who need cost-effective solutions for frequent shipments. 

 

Topship has partnered with its first Sea Freight shipping provider service to address these needs, providing an ideal option for those looking to ship larger and heavier packages without the constraints of short delivery timelines.

 

Here’s what to know about Topship’s Sea Freight service;

Sea Freight – Import

Import heavy and large-volume items from countries across Europe, the Americas, Asia, and Africa.

Fill out and submit the Sea Freight import form, and we will share a quote within 24 hours or sooner. To access the import form, go to the Topship App and tap on Book shipments -> Imports -> Import Via Sea.

 

Sea Freight Export 

Experience a cost-effective exportation process with Sea Freight.

For Sea Freight Exports to the USA, 

💸 Rates start at ₦600/kg

📦 Minimum weight requirement of 100kg

🚫 Excludes customs clearance and doorstep delivery

⌛Delivery timeline 8-12 weeks 

 

For Sea Freight Exports to the UK; 

💸 Rates start at £4

✅ Cost inclusive of customs clearance 

📦 Doorstep delivery is also available at an extra cost

⌛Delivery timeline 8-12 weeks 

🚢 Only ships once a month

 

  1. Budget Imports 

Imagine booking an import from New York to any city in Nigeria without paying customs fees or shipping your items to an address. Our new Budget service for Imports has the benefits of Shop & Ship and Express Imports in one service. All you have to do is pay for item pick up and import into Nigeria, with no customs fees! 

 

To use this service, book an import and select the Budget service. 

Note: This service is available only for shipments from the USA to Nigeria, but more routes will be coming soon!

  1. Updated booking flow 

With our new booking flow,  you can now share exact details of all the items you are shipping based on how they are packaged, particularly for shipments with multiple items in a single box/mailer bag. This feature enhances transparency and allows for a better understanding of the content of your packages, which will, in turn, improve customs clearance and overall shipping experience.
