With the launch of our Budget Service in September 2023, we aimed to make exportation from Nigeria to the UK, USA, and Canada more affordable. At the time of the launch, requests for budget-friendly shipping to these countries had peaked, prompting us to create a service that caters to our customers’ needs.

Initially, with the rise in immigration from Nigeria to other countries (JAPA), we assumed that food would be the most missed item from Nigeria. We believed Budget would help solve the issues of missing home-cooked meals. Surprisingly, we were wrong. While Nigerian food was indeed frequently shipped abroad using our Budget Service, it wasn’t the most shipped item. Clothing and beauty items from Nigeria took the lead.

Currently, the Nigerian beauty industry dominates our shipments within the Budget Service. This is evidence that Nigerian beauty, from fashion to skincare, is in very high demand in the UK, US, and Canada. The fashion industry in Nigeria excels in creating clothing for all occasions. As a reliable logistics service, we bridge the gap between the fashion industry and customers worldwide, ensuring that all customers are reached and satisfied without breaking the bank.

Although the fashion industry primarily took advantage of our Budget Service, they weren’t the only ones. Food was our second most shipped item, of course, because Nigerians don’t joke with our stomachs and love to eat familiar foods wherever we are in the world. While you cannot ship perishable food items, there was a high demand for the shipping of dried foods.

People shipped food items to their friends and family abroad, and business owners also shipped food items to their customers in the UK, USA, and Canada. With each shipment, satisfaction was achieved on both sides — a happy sender and a well-fed family member, friend, and customer.

But that’s not all we sent out to the UK, USA, and Canada with our Budget Service. Hair, gadgets, and utensils were also exported using our Budget Service. The diversity in items sent through the Budget Service has been a testament to its reliability and ability to cater to the needs of different sectors, from businesses to personal shipments.

We look forward to the continued impact we will have on various businesses within Nigeria in terms of exportation, improving the economy, and opening up international opportunities for all kinds of businesses in Nigeria.
