Black Friday is coming. And it’s easily one of the best times of the year. There are deals on literally everything. Pretty Little Thing and Asos if you’re into the fashion, Fenty and Mac for all the makeup lovers and everybody offers deals including education based businesses like Coursera and Udacity.
And it’s a lot more than that. Almost every store has something. So if you’ve been adding stuff to cart (which is great therapy), now could be a good time to clear it.
A problem that could arise here is having to get these stuff back to Nigeria. There comes the point where you’re most likely looking for someone coming home and then you have to wait for them till they’re back whenever. Or you have to post tweets asking ‘who’s coming to Lagos anytime soon’
With our Shop and Use Adress product however, you don’t have to worry about all of this. You can just ship from all your favourite stores and we’ll handle the rest till it gets to you.
How does that work?
Well, we’ll get you an address you can use when booking the order and then we’ll process your shipments down to Nigeria.
So for example, if you want to get some new stuff from Asos, we will provide you with a shipping address and process your shipment to your doorstep anywhere in Nigeria. As usual, the price will be dependent on the size of the shipment
At the moment, this service is currently open to just the United Kingdom and the United States.
How do I get started?
- First, add all the good stuff to your cart
- Second, create your Topship account or log in if you already have one
- Click on ship now and then go to Black Friday
- Copy the address based on where you are and go back to your cart and place your order
- Come back to us and fill the details – where the goods are going, what’s in the package etc
- Once this is done, please send us the tracking number and the tracking name for your delivery
- And that’s it. Your goods will be on its way to you

Is this service free?
No it is not.
How much does this cost?
It depends on the weight of your shipment. You can contact our customer care personnel to get an estimate of how much it should cost based on what you’re purchasing.
I’m shipping from both the UK and the US. Is this based on weight only?
No it isn’t. They’re from two different locations and so, they will be based on the cost of shipping from each location.
Are there any more things I should know?
Yes. When you’re shipping to any of the addresses, please include Topship in the senders name. For example, Tobi Onakoya – Topship for easy identification. Also, please send your name, order number and tracking detail to hello@mytopship.com once you book your shipment.
Are there any exceptions?
Yes, gadgets with Lithium batteries are expected to have a longer delivery date than other products.
Can I use this service after Black Friday?
Definitely. Once Black Friday and Cyber Monday deals are over, we’ll go back to having this as a separate product called Shop and Use Address which you can definitely use.
